Located on Kirkland’s Lake Washington waterfront, Houghton Beach Park is a fantastic place to toss out a line for fishing, swim at the beach or play a game of volleyball. Swimmers, sunbathers and fishermen will enjoy the 75-foot dock. If you like kayaking or canoeing, Houghton Beach Park Non-Motorized Boat Launch is just for you! The playground is popular with kids, while they climb, swing and hide, adults can watch from the arena seats that surround the playground. South of the playground, picnic tables dot the lush hillside. From this vantage point the Seattle skyline can be viewed while enjoying the colorful display as the sun sets over the Olympic Mountains.
*Life guarded swimming is available during summer months.
