Mercerdale Park is located in the heart of downtown Mercer Island. The park’s large open lawn is bordered by a paved footpath that encircles the entire site and links the parking lot to each of the amenities. Located on the south end of the park is a children’s play area. The play area offers space for tots under five and a separate area divided by a low cement sitting wall, designed for children 5 and older. The tot area features a bright red train, spring toys and bucket swings. The older children will enjoy a large climbing structure, two slides and swings. Adjacent to playground is an expanded skateboard park. On the west side of the park you will find access to trails that lead up the hillside into nearly 7 acres of natural open space. The northeast corner of the park features a picnic area and Veteran’s Plaza which features a covered pergola.

Mercerdale is home to Mercer Island Parks and Recreation’s Mostly Music in the Park, Summer Celebration, Summer Carnival, and a variety of other events and activities throughout the year.
